For me, Mexican cuisine is a vibrant tapestry of bold flavors and rich traditions, meant to ignite the senses and tell a story with every bite. Partnering with Rare Ideas was like finding the perfect spice to elevate that story. They understood my vision completely, weaving together the culture and passion behind the food and drink to create a space that feels authentically Mexican but with a modern flair. Their work transformed my dream into a tangible experience for every guest.
Naming & Brand Identity
The name Juju phonetically implies a high-energy & playful experience. The brand identity is a nod to Mexican visual culture, to connect the guest with the origin-country for our hero spirit.
We draw inspiration from the aztec patterns symbolising the culture which inspires Juju chefs, the blue agave plant from which tequila is made, and the light-hearted Ozomahtli monkey symbol. The brand also has an ever-growing library of visual elements which can be used for the brand communication.
Guest Experience Design
We identified & designed for every stage of the guests’ experience, from the minute they call-in to make a reservation, to their entire experience in the restaurant space, including a delightful departure.
