A fresh take on European dining

Located in Baner, a vibrant suburb of Pune, Nanna's Negroni is a European-style dining experience that breaks the mould of traditional European dining. It's a space where the spirit of local European cuisine comes alive with the vibrant flavours of Italy and France.
The client, a Cordon Bleu chef, envisioned a welcoming space serving authentic European cuisine. However, Pune's unique dining preferences presented a challenge: how to create a brand that resonated with the local audience's preferences while staying true to its European roots.

Research & Insights

We embarked on a deep dive into Pune's culinary landscape, conducting extensive research to understand the target audience, their dining habits, and their desires. We analyzed survey responses, interviewed locals, and immersed ourselves in the city's food scene and here's what we found.

Desire for Novelty
Pune's diners craved something beyond the typical "copy-paste" menus, seeking new and exciting culinary experiences.

Room for Experimentation

There was a clear demand for restaurants that pushed boundaries and explored lesser-known facets of international cuisine.

Brand Positioning

Based on our research, we crafted a brand personality that was playful, cheeky, and welcoming, like a cool aunt or a playful troublemaker. This persona became the foundation for all brand-building activities.

We're here to make every meal a memorable event while serving refined yet honest food in a setting that welcomes you to come in as you are and makes you curious and curiouser with every passing sip or bite. It's one of those places you just stumble upon when traveling through Europe, offering an experience that's unique and far from stereotypical.

We are that cozy haven where guests can kick back and enjoy wholesome plates and cocktails that make you go, 'one more, please?' We narrate our love affair with food through
every cocktail and dish, ensuring each visit feels like a mini vacation.

Duotone illustration style effectively creates a vintage and timeless aesthetic. For instances where we aim to capture human interaction and activity, this style should be applied. Muted orange and cream duotone creates a vintage, sun-bleached look, ideal for evoking Mediterranean warmth. Shades like terracotta, sepia, and earthy off-white maintain this feel. A grainy effect adds retro charm, reminiscent of old photos, bringing depth and a handcrafted touch that reflects authenticity

Did you know that a restaurant has over
100 consumer touch points? The brand has to be consistent at every one of them.

To create a lasting impression on customers, restaurants must strategically leverage various touchpoints beyond the dining experience itself.
